Andy Warhol was a contemporary American visual artist who was born in 1928. Andy Warhol has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Green Car Crash (Green Burning Car I)' sold at Christie's New York 'POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART EVENING SALE' in 2007 for $71,720,000. There have been Numerous articles about Andy Warhol, including 'Andy Warhol's 3-D 'Statue of Liberty' sells for $43.8 million' written by David Ng for Los Angeles Times in 2012. The artist died in 1987.
