Indian-born British sculptor Anish kapoor is renown for his iconic large-scale sculpture installations. His trademark pieces are often bold, yet simple structures with geometric elements. Kapoor exhibits worldwide and continues to receive public comissions, in addition to working in architecture and design.The artist has received numerous accolades and awards, including the prestigious Turner Prize in 1991, and has made an estimated $62.7 million from his art. Kapoor's record auction price was set in 2008 with the sale of his untitled alabaster piece for 1.94 million pounds.
