Edward Hopper was an American visual artist who was born in 1882. Edward Hopper has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Whitney Museum of American Art and at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Hotel Window' sold at Sotheby's New York 'American Paintings' in 2006 for $26,896,000. There have been Numerous articles about Edward Hopper, including 'New Paris exhibition reveals different side of Edward Hopper' written by Chris Barton for Los Angeles Times in 2012. The artist died in 1967.
