Emile Bernard was a French visual artist who was born in 1868. Emile Bernard has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Ordrupgaard and at the Musée National de l'Orangerie. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Madeleine au bois d'amour' sold at Christie's New York, Park Avenue 'IMPRESSIONIST AND NINETEENTH CENTURY ART' in 1998 for $497,500. There have been Numerous articles about Emile Bernard, including 'Art exhibitions in Paris, September 2014-January 2015' written by Tony Cross for RFI in 2014. The artist died in 1941.
