Fernando Botero is a contemporary Colombian visual artist who was born in 1932. Fernando Botero has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Blum & Poe and at the Danziger Projects. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'The Musicians' sold at Christie's New York 'LATIN AMERICAN SALE' in 2006 for $2,032,000.
