Fra Angelico was an Italian visual artist who was born in 1387. Fra Angelico has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the The British Museum and at the Palazzo Pitti, Galleria Palatina. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Scenes from the Thebaid' sold at Damien Leclere 'Ancient & Modern Paintings' in 2012 for $588,430. There have been Numerous articles about Fra Angelico, including 'Sublime Sketches Rarely Seen' written by Richard B. Woodward for The Wall Street Journal in 2010. The artist died in 1455.
