Francisco de Goya was a 19th Century Spanish visual artist who was born in 1746. Francisco de Goya has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna and at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Bajan riñendo (They go down quarrelling) or Vision de bajar riñendo (Vision: going down quarrelling)' sold at Christie's King Street 'OLD MASTER AND 19TH CENTURY DRAWINGS' in 2008 for $4,490,616. There have been Numerous articles about Francisco de Goya, including 'Huntington announces exhibitions through 2011' written by David Ng for Los Angeles Times in 2010. The artist died in 1828.
