Frida Kahlo was a Mexican visual artist who was born in 1907. Frida Kahlo has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Centre Pompidou and at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'ROOTS' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Latin American Art' in 2006 for $5,616,000. There have been Numerous articles about Frida Kahlo, including 'Google celebrates Frida Kahlo's 103rd birthday by doctoring its logo -- and her self-portrait' written by Mike Boehm for Los Angeles Times in 2010. The artist died in 1954.
