![]() Frits Thaulow (Norwegian, 1847 - 1906) 
Frits Thaulow was a 19th Century Norwegian visual artist who was born in 1847. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'VINTER I NORGE (WINTER IN NORWAY)' sold at Sotheby's London '19th Century European Paintings, including German, Austrian, Hungarian & Slavic Paintings The Orientalist Sale, and The Scandinavian Sale' in 2005 for $203,756. There have been Several articles about Frits Thaulow, including 'Views of Hamburg: The City in the Painter's Gaze at Hamburger Kunsthalle' written for ArtDaily in 2009. The artist died in 1906.
