George Shaw is a British visual artist who was born in 1966. George Shaw has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Fitzwilliam Museum and at the Compton Verney. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Undergrowth' sold at Christie's King Street 'Post War & Contemporary Art Day Sale' in 2013 for $122,445. There have been Numerous articles about George Shaw, including 'Turner Prize visitors to Gateshead's Baltic beat (almost) all hopes' written by Martin Wainwright for The Guardian in 2012.
