Giacomo Balla was an Italian visual artist who was born in 1871. Giacomo Balla has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Galleria degli Uffizi and at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Velocità d'automobile + luci' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale' in 2007 for $3,960,000. There have been Numerous articles about Giacomo Balla, including 'Venice Biennale Lures Art Fans to Europe’s Summer Jamboree' written by Martin Gayford for Bloomberg in 2009. The artist died in 1958.
