Giacomo Ceruti was an Italian visual artist who was born in 1698. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Diana e le ninfe sorprese da Atteone' sold at Christie's Milan 'DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI E UNA RACCOLTA DI VEDUTE DI MILANO' in 2008 for $1,547,147. There have been Several articles about Giacomo Ceruti, including 'Art Review; Discovering a New World Of Beauty in Lowly Detail' written by Michael Kimmelman for New York Times in 2004.
