Helmut Newton was a contemporary German visual artist who was born in 1920. Helmut Newton has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg and at the Albertina Museum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Sie Kommen, Paris (Naked and Dressed), Vogue Studios' sold at Christie's New York 'Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection' in 2008 for $662,500. There have been Numerous articles about Helmut Newton, including 'When in Berlin: Part II' written by Elisabeth Biondi for The New Yorker in 2010. The artist died in 2004.
