Johann Joachim Faber was a German visual artist who was born in 1778. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'An Italianate landscape with travellers and their herd, with the Monte Circeo and the sea beyond' sold at Christie's King Street 'Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolours Day Sale' in 2010 for $68,285. The artist died in 1846.
