John Heartfield was a German photographer who was born in 1891. John Heartfield has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. and at the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including ''Adolf, der Übermensch: Schluckt Gold und redet Blech'' sold at Van Ham Fine Art Auctions 'Photography' in 2010 for $10,591. There have been Numerous articles about John Heartfield, including 'Great Works: Monteur John Heartfield (1920), George Grosz' written by Tom Lubbock for The Independent in 2010.
