Juan Muñoz was a Spanish visual artist who was born in 1953. Juan Muñoz has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona and at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Esquina Positiva (Positive Corner), in four parts' sold at Christie's King Street 'Post-War & Contemporary Art Evening' in 2011 for $5,446,977. There have been Numerous articles about Juan Muñoz, including 'Sotheby's Contemporary Art Sale' written for Flash Art (International Edition) in 2011. The artist died in 2001.
