Julie Mehretu has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the The Museum of Modern Art and at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Retopistics: A Renegade Excavation' sold at Christie's New York 'Post-War & Contemporary Evening Sale' in 2013 for $4,603,750. There have been Numerous articles about Julie Mehretu, including 'Lehman's Last Sale' written by Kelly Crow for The Wall Street Journal in 2010.
