Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most well known artists of all time. Ultimately known as the creator of popular works such as the 'Mona Lisa' and 'The Last Supper', Da Vinci successfully established himself in the painting genre of art, but he was also involved in and mastered his other interests including sculpture, mathematics, music, architecture, geology and science. His images consisted of a precise and scientific composition, as well as a complete understanding of the use of color, line and form. His work was celebrated throughout his life with commissions by royalty, and continue to be revered to the present day.
