Lynda Benglis is a contemporary American visual artist who was born in 1941. Lynda Benglis has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago and at the Moderna Museet, Stockholm. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'CHAMACHIDIU' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Contemporary Art Day Auction' in 2013 for $173,000. There have been Numerous articles about Lynda Benglis, including 'LACMA gets a gift of glass art' written by Deborah Vankin for Los Angeles Times in 2012.
