Man Ray was an American visual artist who was born in 1890. Man Ray has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. and at the Benaki Museum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Image à Deux Faces (Two-Faced Image)' sold at Sotheby's Paris 'Impressionist & Modern Art' in 2012 for $3,195,702. There have been Numerous articles about Man Ray, including 'The Surreal Selling of Man Ray' written by Kelly Crow for The Wall Street Journal in 2012. The artist died in 1976.
