Manuel Álvarez Bravo was a Mexican visual artist who was born in 1902. Manuel Álvarez Bravo has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and at the Blum & Poe. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Portrait de l'Éternel, Mexico 1935' sold at Sotheby's Paris 'Photographs' in 2010 for $312,184. There have been Numerous articles about Manuel Álvarez Bravo, including 'Arts Guide' written by Compiled by Elisabeth Hopkins for International Herald Tribune in 2005. The artist died in 2002.
