Marc Chagall was a Russian visual artist who was born in 1887. Marc Chagall has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Le Grand cirque' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale' in 2007 for $13,760,000. There have been Numerous articles about Marc Chagall, including 'Chagall's Biblical Gift to His Wife' written by Stan Sesser for The Wall Street Journal in 2011. The artist died in 1985.
