Marilyn Minter is an American visual artist who was born in 1948. Marilyn Minter has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) Boston. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Splattered' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Contemporary Art Day Sale' in 2008 for $122,500.
