Marilyn Minter is an American visual artist who was born in 1948. Marilyn Minter has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and at the Pace New York (32 East 57th Street). Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Splattered' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Contemporary Art Day Sale' in 2008 for $122,500. There have been Numerous articles about Marilyn Minter, including 'If a Picture's Worth a Thousand Words, How About a Picture of a Picture?' written by Barry Newman for The Wall Street Journal in 2011.
