Moritz M. Daffinger was a 19th Century Austrian visual artist who was born in 1790. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Count Maximilian O'Donell (1812-1895), in the uniform of the 4th Kürassier regiment, white coat with green collar and silver button, red-bordered gilt-mounted steel cuirass, white cloak with green collar, dark hair; sky background' sold at Christie's King Street 'IMPORTANT GOLD BOXES AND PORTRAIT MINIATURES' in 2005 for $50,104. The artist died in 1849.
