Nadar was a French visual artist who was born in 1820. Nadar has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and at the Maison Européene de la Photographie. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Pierrot with Fruit, 1854-1855' sold at Phillips New York, Upper East Side 'The Arc of Photography - A Privet East Coast Collection' in 2011 for $542,500. There have been Several articles about Nadar, including 'A Century of the World Distilled at the Met' written by Lance Esplund for New York Sun in 2008. The artist died in 1910.
