Paul Gauguin was a 19th Century French visual artist who was born in 1848. Paul Gauguin has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and at the de Young Museum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Te Poipoi (Le Matin)' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale' in 2007 for $39,241,000. There have been Numerous articles about Paul Gauguin, including 'Gauguin painting's attacker isn't the only crazy one' written by Christopher Knight for Los Angeles Times in 2011. The artist died in 1903.
