Petrus Gerardus Vertin was a Dutch visual artist who was born in 1819. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'A town in winter; Villagers conversing in summer' sold at Christie's Amsterdam 'PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK' in 2001 for $29,873. The artist died in 1893.
