Pierre Bonnard was a French visual artist who was born in 1867. Pierre Bonnard has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and at the de Young Museum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Terrasse à Vernon' sold at Christie's King Street 'Impressionist /Modern Evening Sale' in 2011 for $11,598,495. There have been Numerous articles about Pierre Bonnard, including 'Photography's New Beginning' written by Richard B. Woodward for The Wall Street Journal in 2012. The artist died in 1947.
