Rinko Kawauchi is a Japanese photographer who was born in 1971. Rinko Kawauchi has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and at the David Zwirner, 525 West 19th Street. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Untitled from 'Aila', 2004' sold at Christie's King Street 'PHOTOGRAPHS' in 2008 for $18,251. There have been Numerous articles about Rinko Kawauchi, including 'A Click Away: Locals Abroad' written by Eliza Honey for The New Yorker in 2010.
