Salvador Dalí was a Spanish visual artist who was born in 1904. Salvador Dalí has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Centre Pompidou and at the J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Portrait de Paul Éluard' sold at Sotheby's London 'Looking Closely: A Private Collection' in 2011 for $21,743,488. There have been Numerous articles about Salvador Dalí, including 'Strangely, stolen Salvador Dali painting reappears by mail' written by David Ng for Los Angeles Times in 2012. The artist died in 1989.
