Shoji Ueda was a Japanese photographer who was born in 1913. Shoji Ueda has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Maison Européene de la Photographie. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'SELF-PORTRAIT WITH CAT ('ME AND CAT')' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Photographs' in 2011 for $10,000. There have been Several articles about Shoji Ueda, including 'Shoji Ueda' written by Vince Aletti for ARTFORUM in 2005. The artist died in 2000.
