Titian was an Italian visual artist who was born in 1480. Titian has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the The National Gallery, London and at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'A Sacra Conversazione: the Madonna and Child with Saints Luke and Catherine of Alexandria' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Important Old Master Paintings & Sculpture' in 2011 for $16,882,500. There have been Numerous articles about Titian, including 'Minnesota graffiti artist protects Titian's Venus from the northern cold' written by Mike Boehm for Los Angeles Times in 2011. The artist died in 1576.
