Vincent van Gogh was a 19th Century Dutch visual artist who was born in 1853. Vincent van Gogh has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Kroller-Muller Museum and at the National Galleries of Scotland. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'L'Arlésienne, Madame Ginoux' sold at Christie's New York 'IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN (EVENING SALE)' in 2006 for $40,336,000. There have been Numerous articles about Vincent van Gogh, including 'Norton Simon brings late Van Gogh self-portrait to California' written by Jori Finkel for Los Angeles Times in 2012. The artist died in 1890.
