Wang Guangyi is a contemporary Chinese visual artist who was born in 1957. Wang Guangyi has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Blum & Poe and at the Danziger Projects. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Mao AO' sold at Phillips de Pury & Company London 'China Avant-Garde: The Farber Collection' in 2007 for $4,141,242. There have been Numerous articles about Wang Guangyi, including 'The retrospective exhibition by WANG GUANGYI at TAM' written by Jovana Tomanovic for Flash Art (International Edition) in 2012.
