Wangechi Mutu is a Kenyan visual artist who was born in 1972. Wangechi Mutu has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago and at the Tate St. Ives. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'A Little Thought for All Ya'll Who're Thinking of Beating Around the Bush' sold at Christie's King Street 'POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART (DAY SALE) (PM)' in 2008 for $397,121. There have been Numerous articles about Wangechi Mutu, including 'Passion and Talent in Large Doses' written by Peter Plagens for The Wall Street Journal in 2013.
