Wolfgang Paalen was an Austrian visual artist who was born in 1905. Wolfgang Paalen has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Marta Herford and at the Frey Norris Gallery. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Pays (paysage) médusé' sold at Christie's Paris 'Art Impressionniste Et Moderne' in 2009 for $563,156.
