Yves Klein was a contemporary French visual artist who was born in 1928. Yves Klein has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao and at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Le Rose du bleu (RE 22)' sold at Christie's King Street 'Post-War & Contemporary Art Evening Auction' in 2012 for $37,996,050. There have been Numerous articles about Yves Klein, including 'Noises Off' written by Willard Spiegelman for The Wall Street Journal in 2012. The artist died in 1962.
