After its highly successful debut in 2008 as a booth-based event in a 30,000 square foot pavilion, Red Dot will move to a centrally located lot adjacent to Art Miami and among other high-profile fairs that run concurrent to Art Basel Miami Beach during Miami’s renowned art fair week. Red Dot proudly achieved its goal in 2008 of creating a boutique fair for galleries that seek to present work of lasting value and beyond current trends. The fair’s established focus on painting and works on paper will be accented this year by an emphasis on contemporary and vintage photography, in addition to special programming that will add an educational component to the fair. Designed to complement the offerings exhibited at neighboring fairs, Red Dot Miami will feature galleries selected to provide collectors of all levels with a broad range of works for sale. |
