Warhol’s Camouflage (1986), fabricated in 2025 by Project Backboard. Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He turned everyday images of the American experience into icons of modern art. His creativity knew no bounds and included painting, film, photography, publishing, and media. Warhol forever changed how we see the everyday world, and how the world sees art. © The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc.
