Calder-Picasso
This is the first exhibition in Spain dedicated to exploring the creative connections between two 20th century modern masters: Alexander Calder (1898–1976) and Pablo Picasso (1881–1973). In divergent yet resonant ways, both artists expressed and exploited the void––or the absence of space––and, consequently, innovated entirely new ways for viewers to perceive and experience art.
