From April 19 to September 22, 2013 shows a selection from the Groninger Museum's own collection. Here are several genres and displayed next to each other:. Contemporary photography and design next stars of the international art world This method of presentation is in line with the history of collecting and the postmodern building of the Groninger Museum, which is after all a mix of different styles and genres. There is no chronological story presented here but a surprisingly game of agreement and contrast of tradition and innovation, of provocation and stillness. There are works by Jake & Dinos Chapman, Marga Weimans, Andy Warhol and Marc Quinn. Attention is also paid for photography by Anton Corbijn, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and Blommers & Schumm.
