The MAH celebrates the hundredth anniversary of the death of a major figure in its collection: Félix
Vallotton (1865-1925). To mark the occasion, the museum is devoting a space (on the 2nd floor) entirely devoted to the work of this essential Swiss artist. Nine emblematic paintings, including La Haine, La Cagne et le Baou and Plage de Bellerive à Ouchy, are on display. His graphic work is also featured, with a selection of drawings and prints rarely shown to the public, including the preparatory studies for the painting Persée tuant le dragon and the series of etchings Les Vues de Paris. This exceptional display invites visitors to rediscover Vallotton through rarely exhibited treasures.
