Highlights from the Permanent Collection
The Museum's Permanent Collection contains primarily 20th and 21st century works of art by international, national, and regionally acclaimed artists. A wide range of modern and contemporary styles and periods including Cubism, Realism, Pop Art, Non-objective Art, Folk Art, and Illustration are all featured within the collection. The Museum also owns a fine selection of European and American decorative glass, African art and sculptural works.
There are more than 500 accessioned works within the PMA’s Permanent Collection. Notable artists highlighted within this exhibition consist of, but are not limited to Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Vivian Maier, and Ellsworth Kelly.
