Miró, Matisse & Picasso: Celebrating Color and Line

Monterey Museum of Art presents works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Joan Miró—three of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. The installation will highlight a variety of prints by these modern masters, including selections from Matisse’s Jazz portfolio; etchings and linocuts from Picasso’s classical period; and dynamic, calligraphic lithographs by Miró. The works of art included in Celebrating Color and Line are part of the Museum’s important permanent collection of modern and contemporary prints.
