Senses Complex
Following the sudden passing of our former director at the end of 2024, Nomart has entered a new chapter under its new structure. This year-end group exhibition marks the culmination of 2025 by returning to our concept, “SENSES COMPLEX.” Rooted in art yet expanding across music, design, and literature, this theme symbolizes Nomart’s enduring pursuit of expression that transcends boundaries. Under its banner, ten diverse artists come together.
The lineup includes long-time Nomart collaborators Hajime Imamura, Kohei Nawa, Motonori Inagaki, Yukio Fujimoto, and Naruki Oshima—the latter presenting new work with us for the first time in about ten years—alongside Kana Ueda and Keiichi Ikegami, who have received growing acclaim in recent years and held their first solo exhibitions at Nomart this year. Joining them are sara from .es (dot es), Nomart’s only musician; Akira Takahata, art critic and poet; and Yoichi Umetsu, participating with Nomart for the first time.
