Summer Ritual
PDX Contemporary Art is pleased to present Summer Ritual, a group exhibition bringing together work by both PDX represented and invited artists focusing on the idea of rituals.
Rituals are important both individually and collectively, helping us to connect to ourselves, our communities, and our environments. They motivate us, bring purpose and comfort, and are markers for important transitions and milestones. The start of summer introduces new kinds of rituals as the days become longer and warmer. Our annual summer group show has become a summer ritual in itself— bringing together work by artists tied together with a central theme.
