A new exhibition at ABStudio Gallery invites you to a compelling encounter between different feminine worlds.

At the heart of the exhibition lies the contrast between figures: some with clear and expressive faces, others faceless, abstract, almost floating in space. Their meeting creates a visual dialogue about identity, presence and absence, strength and fragility.

Each artist brings a unique voice: a different material language, distinct colors, and her own inner story. Together they shape a space where the figures are not only representations of women, but mirrors of human conditions, memories, and emotions of our time.

The gallery becomes a field of dialogue: between abstract and figurative, between softness and power, between what can be recognized and what remains mysterious. This exhibition reflects on the way we look at people and on the many ways a woman can be present in the world.

Saints

The three works presented are part of the series Saints, centered on contemporary female figures that radiate quiet inner strength.

The works combine figurative realism with elements of pop art and graphic language, drawing inspiration from religious icon painting.

The halo surrounding the women’s heads is not religious in nature, but represents a form of conscious sanctity. A secular holiness that speaks of unapologetic presence, freedom, inner power, and female sovereignty.

Tamar Hirschl

This series reflects an early body of work by Tamar Hirschl, created through observation while gradually moving toward formal and chromatic abstraction.

Through painting, she sought to move beyond representation and touch on a lyrical and contemplative content.

The works aim to capture states of delicacy, calm, and softness moments of focus, seriousness, and quiet presence through which the essence of feminine and existential experience is distilled.

Patricia Abramovich

No face

The NO FACE series was born from a reality of loss and the difficulty of containing the magnitude of pain experienced in the country over the past two years.

The oil-painted figures appear without faces, wrapped in an almost regal aura, moving between fragility and strength.

The absence of facial features is not an erasure, but a testimony to vulnerability and human exposure. Through color and layered surfaces, the figures retain dignity, quiet presence, and inner resilience in the face of a reality that extends beyond words.

Yael Bloch

Amit 

Yael Bloch’s series focuses on the female figure as a symbol of inner strength and composed presence.

Facial features are simplified or softened, allowing emotion to emerge through posture, color, and texture rather than explicit expression.

Her works balance sensitivity and resilience, offering a timeless and universal image of femininity that invites contemplation rather than definition.
