"Ale Osollo: The Art of Becoming" presents a selection of paintings shaped by symbolism, material transformation, and evolving visual narratives. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, Ale draws from Mexican customs, spirituality, mythology, and popular culture, creating works that move between abstraction and figuration, memory and intuition.

Through fragmented imagery, gestural marks, collage, and unconventional materials, Ale constructs compositions that continually shift and evolve. Colours collide. Textures accumulate. Symbols emerge and dissolve. Surfaces are built, disrupted, erased, and reworked until each painting arrives at a state that feels both raw and resolved.

Throughout the exhibition, reconstructed garments, symbolic animals, spiritual references, and dreamlike environments form a visual language driven as much by instinct as experimentation.

At the centre of Ale’s practice is a deeply human sensitivity. Her works encourage reflection through empathy, awareness, optimism, and emotional presence, creating connections between symbolism, materiality, and human experience.

Ale’s practice embraces the unpredictable behaviour of materials, allowing tension and balance to exist simultaneously within the work.
