Summer Selections at Art Projects International

Art Projects International in Tribeca is delighted to present Summer Selections, a group exhibition featuring a selection of works by Mariano Ferrante, IL Lee, Yojiro Imasaka, In‑Hyung Kim and other gallery artists.

Mariano Ferrante’s large painting Pintura N51/17 (2017), 70 x 118 inches, from his well-known densely constructed and richly colored Pintura series; Several stellar iconic works by IL LEE featuring examples of early ink on canvas and ballpoint, oil, and acrylic works, including BLW‑002 (2010) one of his first forays into ballpoint, oil, and acrylic on canvas and reproduced in publication worldwide. This work enabled the artist to develop his unique practice into WMC‑2401 (2024), a masterfully-executed large-scale ballpoint, oil, and acrylic work on canvas (image above). Also, BL-058 (2005), a beautifully-aged deep blue ink on canvas that has not been presented since its Paris, France, debut and facing against BL‑2402 (2024), the artist’s most recent return to vibrant blue ink on canvas work — all exquisite examples of IL Lee’s bold line and signature imagery; Yojiro Imasaka’s toned gelatin silver print Wet-Land #74 (2021) using meticulous photographic practices to elegantly capture the aura of the Bayou; and Untitled (2000) by In‑Hyung Kim is a subtle floral, oil on canvas painting in deep lavender, from her most celebrated Paris Years; as well as notable works by other gallery artists.
