Brian Sindler: Moody Harmony at Gallery 1261
In this small but poigniant show, Brian Sindler explores tonal moods through subtle layers and variations of color. He studied music at Columbia College in Missouri and worked as a musician for years before embracing painting in his thirties. Sindler studied fine art in Chicago at the American Academy of Art and then the School of Representational Art. Though painting is his focus, music is never far and somehow always makes itself known in his art.
